At times we have all felt lonely and isolated and sometimes it can feel like no-one cares. Here at Hope Central we don’t want anyone to feel like this, we want people to know there is always hope. We appreciate that sometimes it can take a lot of courage to come along to the Hope Centre for the first time and we work hard to make sure people feel at ease and are accepted just as they are. We enjoy building community by getting to know each other, having fun together and showing Jesus’ love to others.
Our Hope Centres run weekly and are free for anyone to drop in. They provide a warm, welcoming community and a delicious free lunch!

Looking to learn English?
We offer free English classes that are open to everyone in the community. Classes are held in Handforth on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and in Colshaw on Fridays (see opposite for full details). These lessons are more than just language support—they’re a place to connect, build friendships, and feel part of the community. It’s been deeply rewarding to meet the growing need for support and to stand alongside individuals—some of whom have faced great hardship—as they rebuild their lives.
